The Little Consulting Co. was founded in 2013 by Annaliese Hendry. It was established out of a recognition that national education policy intentions need to be communicated effectively to all stakeholders and that schools and their teachers need to be set up to succeed in the classroom.
Annaliese’s career in education spans schools, charities, business and politics. She is particularly interested in the relationship between new education policy and its implementation, and has experience at both ends of the process.
Annaliese’s background is in education research and national policy development. Out of various Westminster-based think tanks, she has written and spoken extensively about major policies, including: primary school structural reform and Academy freedoms, particularly around curriculum innovation.
Annaliese has also worked at the cutting-edge of policy implementation. She is a qualified primary school teacher with a specialism in early years education and has taught in both independent and state school sectors, including Academy-converters and Free Schools. Annaliese takes on a few private pupils every year to keep a hand in the classroom.
The Little Consulting Co. occupies the ground in between national policy and the local classroom. We bring policy and practise together to help our clients communicate their passions in a way that engages young minds and supports their learning at school.
